I'd prefer anything that pays, but I'm difficult in what's POSSIBLE. (no outside work, due to bright daylight, no colours, cause colourblind, no precision work, cause can't see it, etc. etc. )
Apart from that, employers discriminate but of course they can hide behind their sentence "we found a better profile than yours". ending it all.
And if I try via a temp agency, I don't stand a chance. The temp agency is my employer, but the company wanting to hire me can't benefit from any subsidies whatsoever.

I'm confused at this. When the board screwed up, it wasn't because of anyone. It did it on its own. When people took advantage of it in the way Alix said, it didn't make it worse or anything. It was just an easy way to get some bonus posts.
unfortunatly it's just normal pay (christmas and boxing day we're off aswell). But atleast it's not going off my holidays.
starting Januari the new budgets will become available again. So it might be a good time to look for a job.
I could show you so much more in Holland besides Amsterdam

For us everything goes based on a 'fiscal year' so they announce budgets in April - lame but the way it is in government work. If you don't have something by June you may as well give up for the year until September (when the kids are back in school and people have to hire to make up for the free summer labor they were getting from the Co-Op students)
same here. The budgets for the year (financial year) will be in April. But most companies here get there budgets per quarter. So come January there will be som extra money available.

I think Alix was being (unintentionally) confusing.
Because there's been a 30 second rule. Always has. At least as long as I've been here.The cool thing about that trick was that it essentially bypassed the 30 sec rule.

I have been hearing rumors that our contracts will be extended again in March so hopefully that is true but I guess we will see when we get closer. If not it probably won't even be worth me working before WoA. No one is going to hire me with a 3 week vacation in a few months.
