Dumb bitch moving in anticipation when the light is red then not moving anywhere when it finally turns green
+ guy in van whose brain has Mondayitis and thinks we're moving
+ towbar at the back of my wagon
= bent towbar and a hole in the van's numberplate.

ooh boy... hole in the numberplate... he must have hit you pretty hard then. They normally only bent right?

well I hope we will be smart enough to understand that technology doesn't stop just because we can't comprehend the changes anymore. And not be a bitch about it and blame others for our own mistakes.

Maybe it'll skip a generation...when the kids are no longer taught to think for themselves/use pen and paper to work stuff out...then when it doesn't work it must be the gadget's fault and not them accidentally pressing the wrong button.

Nothing like my first real accident. Some old guy didn't know how to use a roundabout. Well he did, but he thought he could get away with doing the wrong thing to save time fixing a navigation error. He was so wrong :uff: Lucky he admitted to fault.

Good he admitted. Heard about an accident where both parties just kept pointing at the other for blame. Actually came to a lawsuit  And neither car was totalled. :(

Knock on wood. But I haven't had an accident yet. Atleast not with me driving. A lot of near misses tho.

Morning all!

Wouldn't matter here. We have 'no fault' insurance. Doesn't matter who is in the wrong because you both pay :( It fails. I actually just about took someones front end off because they decided to turn across 3 lanes of traffic BETWEEN cars that were stopped in the near lane and didn't bother to look to see if someone else (me) was coming in the far lane. We both managed to hit the brakes in time but I was not happy with him. I missed him by inches - That was Friday.

This isn't limited to older people. Technology moves at a pretty quick pace and if you aren't in a position to be seeing it then coming across a gadget that leaves you wondering is getting more common. I have some idea since I work in IT but not everyone does. We're currently installing Windows 7 on the machines at work and it's causing quite a stink - and that's YEARS old.

Maybe it'll skip a generation...when the kids are no longer taught to think for themselves/use pen and paper to work stuff out...then when it doesn't work it must be the gadget's fault and not them accidentally pressing the wrong button.

They don't think for themselves now! You can go to the grocery stores here and the 20 something cashiers can't even count change.. Heaven forbid if you give them anything after they enter he numbers..I wait and then say "Oh I have some change" just to get a laugh :p
