I'm back finally.
I was afraid I'd continue to get some useful things done around here! In the time I was without a computer/the internet I managed to leave the house three times, find all the food/consumables words in my German/English dictionary, colour-code each word according to its gender and copy them six times in different groups/orders.

Tip: if you like multitasking, just spam German words here. It helps.
Plus it'll help others like me who are learning it too.Once I counted to a hundred in German here. Pretty much knew it all by the end.

After a long weekend I always feel like I never have to go back to work ever again. The feeling is no different today...

Wow.. I take it you didn't get travelers insurance? I'm always paranoid that something will happen to me when I travel so always have the backup plans just in case I have to pay some medical bill I can at least get something back. That's REALLY expensive! I'm glad they seemed to fix you up anyway
I did have travel insurance, hence the nice cheque in the mail. What I didn't realise (until the nurses told me) was since it was a relatively small bill (considering), I was in and out in a pretty short amount of time and I didn't have European medical insurance (or something like that) I had to pay the whole lot up front then contact the insurance company later, jump through a few hoops then hope for the best. Must say it was (excuse the pun) a hard pill to swallow at the time since I had been under enough stress since leaving Bloodstock as it was without having to deal with all of that in a foreign country by myself.
