Back in August, about half an hour after I landed in Muenchen (in order to catch public transport up to Nuernberg so I could catch a shuttle bus to Summer Breeze the next morning) I started getting symptoms of Gastroenteritis. 2 and a half hours later I was in the back of an ambulance being carted off to the nearest hospital/medical centre/sick bay thingy. By the time they jabbed me in 3 places with sharp things (not with any amount of ease either) and had me hooked up to IV fluids I had nothing left in my body to pass. Roughly 3 hours, 3 IV fluid bags and Lord knows what other tests/medicine later I asked if I could be discharged (although I still had a bit of a fever). The whole lot came to just over 600 euros which was my budget for about 6 days :uff:

woow that sucks... I knew you were ill but not that ill

Wow.. I take it you didn't get travelers insurance? I'm always paranoid that something will happen to me when I travel so always have the backup plans just in case I have to pay some medical bill I can at least get something back. That's REALLY expensive! I'm glad they seemed to fix you up anyway ;)

For some reason I woke up before my alarm went off. That never happens. At least not when I'm setting my alarm for anytime before noon.
You are just lucky then :p. I always get up before mine on work days and then there is no point to try to go back to sleep since it takes me so long to even GET to sleep in the first place. Seems the older I get the more sleep I want and the less my body lets me have. My mom barely sleeps from what she tells me - something NOT to look forward to. I'll add that to the list of hot and cold flashes and extra bitchiness!

Sigh, municipal taxes are a nightmare. 2nd year in a row those guys fuck up and my exemption takes over half a year to get:uff:
Ewww..hope it won't take them that long this time :)
