I went on Interrail (equivalent of Eurorail for EU citizens) when I was 29. So...

It all depends of course what you're doing. (but at that time I had a nice & decent job)

Keep in mind, Americans get like, no time off. If I were to walk away from a good job (which, I will need) I'll lose it and have to start finding work again when I finally get back. Even 2-3 weeks could prove impossible.

But, yeah, I have a lot to shit to get through now. But, I'm a cheap bastard and fortunately in Europe my main luxury is cheap in most places (beer ).

Oh, speaking of, Quark, how much would a huge bottle of Duvel cost in Belgium? I found a huge bottle, I think it was between 5 and 10 liter, at a store in Boston. It was $200, which is tempting even at that price but I'd have to split it between some friends.

That's for sure. I have to plan better next time. I was there three days, the shows I wanted to were the day before I showed up and about 12 hours after I left.

Well, at least I'm not the only one. I've been contemplating once I finish school and get my debts largely paid off I'm going to backpack the world. I'm questioning my sanity after coming to this conclusion.

I figured it might exist there. It was about the size of that Leffe bottle. Duvel is actually extremely rare here, I have only seen it in two (specialty) shops and it's really freaking expensive. $15 for .75l.

Unfortunately, I actually have paid that too.

Good news: My prof sent me a mail telling me he doesn't care about the delay of my paper and that he's giving me another 12 days, so I can stop stressing out.

Bad news: The hour I come to know that I can start living again, a huge front of black clouds comes up and brings a thunderstorm, screwing with the awesome spring weather we had for the past week -.-
