I went on Interrail (equivalent of Eurorail for EU citizens) when I was 29. So...
It all depends of course what you're doing. (but at that time I had a nice & decent job)
Keep in mind, Americans get like, no time off. If I were to walk away from a good job (which, I will need) I'll lose it and have to start finding work again when I finally get back. Even 2-3 weeks could prove impossible.
But, yeah, I have a lot to shit to get through now. But, I'm a cheap bastard and fortunately in Europe my main luxury is cheap in most places (beer
). Oh, speaking of, Quark, how much would a huge bottle of Duvel cost in Belgium? I found a huge bottle, I think it was between 5 and 10 liter, at a store in Boston. It was $200, which is tempting even at that price but I'd have to split it between some friends.
