I did manage to survive my first day back at work somehow, though I still worked way more than I should have (early mark tomorrow I reckon). I swear there was like a full ream of paperwork waiting for us to collect from the past week and a half.
The ward meeting only took half an hour. The junior doctors did a fantastic job while the consultant was away
