What I feared was a cluster of spider veins turns out to be a deep bruise in my heel/ankle, most probably from when I tripped and fell on the wheelbarrow last week. I've been running on it almost daily since then without trouble, but I just noticed my ankle is swollen.

Should I go run on it tonight anyway?

For the first time ever I beat the computer at Chess on level one without having to wipe out its entire army. In fact I didn't kill off any piece.

I'm extremely bad at it. I only just got the hang of the moves after playing the computer version. Even on level 1 the best I usually do is kill off the army and chase the king around until he's surrounded

You do know the goal of the game is to get the opposite's King checkmate?

Too bad you don't know how to write the moves, otherwise I'd suggest a long distance game.

I do know, but the only way I know how is to kill everyone else first, then turn all of my remaining pawns into queens
