As a first-timer to Wacken, the first thing you think about is of course how the alcohol supply is to be secured during the 3-day craziness. I read somewhere that you can somehow pre-order Wacken Beer to collect at the supermarkets. But how do I order? Is it necessary? I'd really appreciate your help! See you soon

You don't need to order Wacken beer to collect it at the so-called supermarkets on the festival grounds. (Too expensive.) You'd better go to the village of Wacken and buy your beer at the "real" local supermarkets.

Be prepared for quite a long walk, though. (Depending on the campground you are on.) And: Probably they won't sell beer in glass bottles this year as they are trying to reduce the amount of broken glass bottles on the campgrounds. But there's cans and plastic bottles.

I think it was 25 or 30 last year.. It's way too expensive, and it isn't that good either.

i mainly drink beer, i dont like the other drinks very much

Which is like €1/can (and 25cts dep.)
