33 more days til I fly to Hamburg! 13:30 I leave Detroit and won't land in Germany til 7am the next day Aug 2nd. I had a dream last night that I was at Wacken already..lol The festival stage area was rather small, and not sure what band was playing..haha, then I looked for my camera and realised that I left it home...uuhhgg!
I am reading the Wacken schedule as to what bands I want to see more. Fiddlers Green, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and Mambo Kurt are on my must see list! (yeah ok, laugh @ MK but hey this IS my first Wacken remember? lol)
It sucks that TYR overlaps EDGUY....and I spoke with the guys in TYR at Blondies a couple months ago and said "Well....if your slot conflicts with EDGUY, please accept my apologies.. if I miss your set..." lol But I'm sure I'll be hanging out with them..anyway. Just the TRUE metal Stage that Saturday has Overkill, EDGUY and UDO so I'm going to try my hardest to be near the front.

I got a fellow countryman also landing here (Zaventem/Brussels) on Aug 2., but we'll be leaving on the 3rd to Wacken, arriving Wed morning.
