Well because my fortune has made a complete turn around. I was supposed to have my last day at work this Saturday, then I would be laid off. But this afternoon I was offered a good job.

Well I will be working for the new owner of the company I work for now, except it is a new company with a new name, kind of old but new. It will still be in printing and newspapers. I will be doing what I do now, minus the more stressful parts of the job.

Yeah I know what you mean, the global economy sucks and unemployment is high, I am VERY fortunate to have gotten this offer. I am the only one in my department to have been given a job offer. I really got lucky.

I don't know what I did to deserve it, I feel sorry for several of my co-workers who really wanted the job. But it's just great for my family. Tonight we will go out and celebrate.
