Turns out it wasn't a tornado siren, it was a severe thunder storm siren. I've never heard it before so I didn't know there was a difference .

House got hit twice by lightning, thank goodness no fire. It sounded like bombs were going off on all sides of me. Got very shaken up. I thought I was going to die so I told Kris she could have my cds.

I felt the need to do something, but there was nothing I really do, so talking to her managed to at least calm me down enough to not freak out which in turn would freak my sister out more because she's sensitive.
