Guess you were motivated of not killing yourself then, weren't you? I know of the benefits of stopping smoking... I was surprised how great some food could taste :D And of course the breathing. Don't think I could have ever started going to gym with the condition I had before

Also glad I stopped before they forbid smoking inside public places. Would have sucked to be sent outside with this cold :D

yeah I had that too, but after a while I just got in a party mode.
Felt like doing whatever I wanted again, and smoking was included to that.

when I stopped the ban wasn't in affect yet.
but a few months later it was, that made things a lot easier.

but after a while all the pubs started to allow it again, and so I started to smoke in the weekends again, and after a while I just smoked again.

Yea, I know exactly what you mean. I personally decided to keep the quitting up though. It was tough, but managable. And nowadays I can party the way I feel like again without smoking :) But of course that's 4 years ago. Dunno how long you quitted. Probably not too long then

well, if you used to smoke and then you do partysmoking again, it's very likely if not even destined that you completely start smoking again

I guess you just need a good motivation to stop. I myself had a very good friend that helped me with it. She could motivate me a lot and she knew to kick my ass when I failed :D

Wow yea, sounds like it. So I guess you started again after you broke up? That'd make sense then

Some people also fall back into old habits after a relationship to built up a distance to the partner they lost and not to be reminded and stuff. I've seen that multiple times. That would also explain why you'd start again after even a whole year
