do you think the english have more varied accents compared to other nations?
in britain you have scousers, brummies, londoners/cockney, west country, welsh, scots, mancs, yorkshiremen, etc...
whereas germans and dutchies just pronouce stuff differently according to regions... usually mocking the northerners![]()
There are more varieties in English than there are in German/Dutch.
If only your list, then the US, north and south (different accents, intonnations and words) and the African English (South Africa e.g.), Australia and New Zealand
Compared to German, there's the varieties of the Swiss German (a language of its own btw, can't make sense out of it) and the Austria.
In Dutch you have Dutch from NL, Flemish (it's not the same as Dutch, trust me!) and Suriname Dutch, which is not the same as any of the other 2!
And of course "Afrikaans", a completely different but simular language to us.
