it pretty much diedrained pretty hard for awhile... and it still is, but nothing special anymore... pretty disappointing

Bleh, I hate it when that happens.
Most of the storms here with exception to last year fizzled out right before it actually hit. Or it split into two and went around.
Did it happen in Atlanta too?
That's why sometimes I wonder if bad storms really happen. I've never actually seen one even when we were supposed to get nailed.
Once when I was in middle school we were fearing we'd get hit with a bad hurricane and they took extreme measures, canceled school and everything. Then it missed us.
Sure, but it was still annoying. Though I was happy they canceled school until we had to make the day up at the end of the year.
Massachusetts state law: school must be in session for 180 days per year.
