dunno how far mine goes... at least as far as we know... the Swedish part is probably really far back I think... my mom's into that kind of stuff, she's traced it pretty far.

My family tree has been tracked for the past like, thousand years or so. I don't know how accurate it is. It's just been continued for awhile. That's my mom's side though.

I wish I could afford going to more than one festival like that.

It's really hard with my work too, if I took more than I am off work my boss would be rather pissed off.

that sucks... luckily I don't have that problem since my grandma's my boss... I can work basically whenever I want good thing too, since it'll be difficult as is to work around school once it starts

I'm planning on going to one or two places in Europe every year though. Next year it looks like Ragnarok festival and somewhere else. People keep bitching at where they want the second place to be so I'm just going to take amusement to the arguments.

lol whatever works Ragnarok sounds like a good idea though, wish I could go. I'm not even sure I'll be able to go at all next year... depends on if I can make enough on top of tuition. I'll try though.
really want to go to Hellfest, Graspop, and Metalcamp next year... wanted to this year but it would have been too expensive

Well, from the way it looks now it's not expensive at all for the typical dates Ragnarok is, only like $500 for airfare.

That's one of the reasons why I'm glad I qualify for so much financial aid. I'd say that being richer would be harder with things like school and while I disagree with that prospect, I'm not complaining so much right now.

In like, 2012 I'm just going to go all out on a trip. I'll spend a month and just hit up every festival or something.

yea you're lucky there... my dad said I don't qualify for any and he's only paying the first semester or year or so, after that I'm on my own...
lol sounds like fun... but that's impossible you'd need at least 2 or 3 months, plus some festivals' dates overlap... Bloodstock and Summer Breeze for one... Graspop, Tuska, Rock Hard, and about a gazillion others on another...

wow that's a lot I'm not even spending $1000 as far as I've planned, though that's not counting airfare since my dad got that for me.
we only had one income, my dad's... my mom just stayed at home.

Unless he makes beyond $65,000 a year, you should qualify for financial aid. At least send in an application, it won't hurt even if you're declined.

That trip is going to be huge though. I'm also not just paying for myself when I spend that much. I promised my sister if she can make honor roll every term per year I'd do that for her the summer before she graduates.
