I found out Alestorm is coming back in the USA for another tour in November. Maybe they'll go with Eluveitie.

heard that too... hope it'll be cool. not too good though since I don't think I'll be able to go to too many shows if any after the summer

Today at work my boss told a collegue "hol mal Schaufel und Besen" (go get me the broom). She didn't understand him clearly and though he had said "Embesium" which she thought might be a sort of flowers. So she went to the storage and searched for it and a few others helped her. When they couldn't find it they called the boss and asked him again and he was like "I asked for the broom, there is no such as "Embesium"). Since then everyone's calling her Embesia XD

There's not many shows between now and summer, so I shouldn't have a problem. It's November though, so it's not like it's right after. My friend's trying to talk me into going to Dream Theater, which is the day after I get back from Wacken. That's not happening.

well the thing is, I'll be stuck near Shreveport in Louisiana starting next week... no shows at all there unless I'm willing to travel to Texas or something...

Wow, that kind of sucks. I'm just going to a community college to get that out of the way, then going to another local one. I'm sure you'd be able to go to some shows of course. I hear Texas has a pretty good crowd.

yea, if I'm willing to drive 4.5hrs

Eh, traveling can be fun if done with the right people. I enjoy traveling to shows. Actually, I'm considering going to Toronto to see a show for my 20th birthday, but I don't know if that's going to happen.

Mayhem and Marduk. Actually technically it's the day before my birthday. I don't know if I'm going to go though, I'm not much of a fan of either band but it's one of those things I'm being partially forced into and I'll enjoy anyways. I suppose it'd be great to drink on my 20th instead of waiting until I'm 21.

hm looking at Google maps I'm at least at a decent position to travel to a bunch of different places... like Dallas, Houston, Little Rock, New Orleans, and Jackson are all within 4.5-5hrs or so away
that's still quite a while away though...

Typical American (the drinking age) as we can drink at 16 (beers, light alc. beverages) and 18 (all alc)

But then again, you drive at 16. We don't.
