I used to work at a pancake restaurant, and the son of the manager is in a wheelchair too

like he used to say

My legs may be crazy, but my head is not!

(the guy has spastic legs, went to elementary school 2 years after his twin sister, but they went to the next school at the same time, sure damn sure his head is not crazy. What his legs lack, he makes up in brains)

yea, that happens...

I know how stupid people can be when you are handicapped

I was at the bakers once, when I saw the mom of an old classmate of mine, in a wheelchair. So I went up to her, had a little talk about what happened etc (when I was still in the same class as her daughter, she was not in a wheelchair, so I was kinda shocked and surprised)

it was kinda busy in the shop, so when it was her turn, I was still standing behind her, and they thought I was her guide or something

and the girl behind the counter asked me: what does she want?
and I said: I dunno, but I am sure she is perfectly capable of telling you what she needs herself.
Nothing new. Happens all the time.
For sure. I actually have mine now, I'll pm you mine when I look through the paperwork again, don't know it off hand.
OK!
Car wash now though, it's 70 degrees in mid january  Peace.

Pfff.

It's freezing here.

All prejudice! Happens all the time.

Even before I started working people were wondering stuff like that. (and I have the idea people here are more "pampered" than in NL)

Well, I just do my thing. To take or to leave.
