I know how stupid people can be when you are handicapped

I was at the bakers once, when I saw the mom of an old classmate of mine, in a wheelchair. So I went up to her, had a little talk about what happened etc (when I was still in the same class as her daughter, she was not in a wheelchair, so I was kinda shocked and surprised)

it was kinda busy in the shop, so when it was her turn, I was still standing behind her, and they thought I was her guide or something

and the girl behind the counter asked me: what does she want?
and I said: I dunno, but I am sure she is perfectly capable of telling you what she needs herself.

nice :D:rolleyes:

Thats a bit disrespectful...was it like a motorized wheelchair, or a regular one? The motor ones are popular over here for the severely handicapped or really old people...looks ridiculous imo but whatever.

there's this one science teacher at my school who always sits outside his classroom in this regular office chair with wheels, and just moves around like that...
apparently, some people who have never had his class think he's handicapped :D

A crazy men's Utopia

I used to work at a pancake restaurant, and the son of the manager is in a wheelchair too

like he used to say

My legs may be crazy, but my head is not!

(the guy has spastic legs, went to elementary school 2 years after his twin sister, but they went to the next school at the same time, sure damn sure his head is not crazy. What his legs lack, he makes up in brains)
