As a kid my dad dominated our only TV with Football all season long. He also watches Basketball and some baseball. In other words, a typical American father.

I agree, I just think that Metalcore bands took the Melodic Death style of bands like In Flames, Soilwork etc. and made a new sound, Metalcore. Then In Flames incorporated some Metalcore sound into their later music. So I think that In Flames took a new sound/subgenre that their music helped influence and applied it back to themselves. I hope that makes sense.

Our college football team is named the "Warriors" a much more fitting name for a football team IMO.

Check out Never Neverland or Alice In Hell by ANNIHILATOR for starters. Both AWESOME albums. I really like Machine Head's debut album "Burn My Eyes". I did not follow them after their second album though. They sorta went Rap Metal for a while.
