although mostly everyone at the Carcass show was there for Carcass [and also a lot for Suffocation], 1349 got a nice response as well :]

I walked in as 1349 were going on. ( bad timing ) I tried to get there for Necrophagist but was early.
I only wanted to see Carcass and Necrophagist. That 4 warm up band stuff has got to stop.

I walked in as 1349 were going on. ( bad timing ) I tried to get there for Necrophagist but was early.
I only wanted to see Carcass and Necrophagist. That 4 warm up band stuff has got to stop.

so what, every band you don't like you call a warm-up band?
I thought it was a really strong lineup, only exception being Rotten Sound, which was just okay.
overall a great show though.

Pardon me...Every band before the " headliner" I call a warm up band. The line up would have been ok if it had started a little earlier. Carcass didn't go on until 11:30 !! That's bullshit.
Like you said everybody was there for them. They could have played alone and still sold out. It is a little much to expect people to stand around a club for 7 hours.

yea, probably would have been better if it started earlier...
and I got tired of standing as well, but with that many great bands... 7 hours of death metal [and 1349 ] was pure awesomeness.
and it didn't sell out here, but of course we're a metal wasteland.
