why is it more expensive to go to Karlsruhe by train than to Ulm, even though Karlsruhe is way closer
I will think about it while I get my coffee.

why is it more expensive to go to Karlsruhe by train than to Ulm, even though Karlsruhe is way closer
because people are weird.![]()
Pardon me...Every band before the " headliner" I call a warm up band. The line up would have been ok if it had started a little earlier. Carcass didn't go on until 11:30 !! That's bullshit.
Like you said everybody was there for them. They could have played alone and still sold out. It is a little much to expect people to stand around a club for 7 hours.
german trains are kinda weird, it is really expensive to go to germany spontaneously.. that is why I always plan ahead, but the cheap tickets to Karlsruhe are already sold out
then just come later...
oh and sometimes I don't even go for the headliner, I'll go for one of your so-called warm-up bands.
I don't care what slot they're in, besides the fact that it's nice to see the bands you want to see play longer.![]()
If they posted the set times on line I would. The problem is, they say Doors open at 6pm. That doesn't mean the first band will go on then.
It is a small complaint I know, but it gets annoying.
Even Motorhead 2 weeks ago. They had 2 bands pull of the tour and they still didn't go on untill 10. That is not late , but I figured they would be early since they were short 2 bands.
opening bands have always been called " warm up" bands. At least we call them that. I have left before the headliner as well, little miss smarty pants.
