Nope, as far as I know they're us-american.
Well... mathcore is kind of special. One can say it actually is a mathematical approach to music - very inscrutable structure, no melodies - to most people I met it's just noise. Converge are one of the longest existing mathcore bands, they basically started the whole thing in 1992.
Think Sonic Youth plus Hardcore plus Free Jazz and you're near mathcore.strange , i have never heard that term before. noise ? like Sonic Youth type of stuff ?
hehe... I love it.no heroes- very hardcore punk
As I said, it's kinda special. I've never met someone in person who's into that stuff. Might be because I'm not one of their usual fanbase with stretched earlobes and tattooed forearms.not for me. it's too all over the place for me .
They're doing a huge tour of europe though , they must be popular there.
I agree. I love Primus.Converge and bands like that...either you like it right away or you'll never like it , I think.
I knew a guy who liked Sonic Youth and swore they were gods..
I never got it.. I could hear the talent , but it was just ...i don't know.
like primus. Awesome musicians, but it sounds so messy.

I'm out of beer. Fuck.
