A tent? It would be no problem...because it would only be for the night...and if you will go to Sweden in Summer (with me;)) the weather also hopefully wouldn't make problems...So, my only need is a warm shower inside!hehe...or is there a radio in the bathroom with disgusting music? mmmhh...not fine, but there are more worse things in this world...

@^witchfinder^: during the last three years i always stayed at a hotel or at some folks i know. i really, really dislike tents and most of all bathrooms used by a multitude. the last tent-festival was in 1995, dynamo. geeeez. that was on of the most horrible experiences i've ever made. ever seen a toilet-cover uphill a huge "mountain" of s***??? or seen some drunken folks pissing against your tent and not able to hurry quickly enough towards them to make them stop, because you're stuck in the mud - that means your one shoe and you stepping barefoot in a muddy smelling $&%/")$ ? this was the most disgusting thing i ever had to face *buaks*. then for a few years i thought it was cooler to watch some of the festivals on tv... and now, as already said, i go again to festivals - but only if a hotelroom is available ;)
might be some fun less. but this is worth it!!! no doubt!!! !!!

@xgravedancer00x: who told you stinking-tent-sleeper ;) should be allowed to shower in our bath, heh? and who told you we would travell in summer??? ??? i love snow. *yipppppeeee* *throwing snow-balls on jana's tent*

Lina is so ugly to me...I don't deserve such words...höhö...
You are so cold to me...mmmhh...the more I think about...what about icey tents (don't know the word in English)...I really think that it could be warm in it!
Hey, winter for the inner body feeling is not cool...in Winter it's cold and you have to wear to much clothes!

Mhh, one thing to the festivals! Lina you only visit the wrong festivals;)
Try to piss on the tent of other persons, then you will sleep and wake up in silence because everybody has respect for you!harhar

Ok, thanks for travelling with me in summer ;)
I always knew that you are a lovely person and you only like it to shock me with your jokes...;)

haha yeah i agree about the toilets at festivals ....but as much as i hate them porta loo things ...the ones where we had our tent at Wacken were not too bad (tip if you shove some toilet paper up your nose before you enter its nowhere near as bad) :) but there is nothing that can be done about the look of it :( urghhh
oh well its only 3 days of the year ...i can put up with it for that long ....just

and of course staying in a hotel is better than not going at all :)

even though we stayed this year in a hotel ...i still took a tent with me ...it just doesnt seem Wacken without your own tent ...with a flag of course :)

i think i'm too old to change and sleep uncomfortable ;] .
but as you said: better to visit a festival + sleep in a solid room, than not going at all. only important thing is to see all good bands, get to know some folks and have a lot of fun!!!

i'm planning to re-visit the lovely capital of sweden again, but i heard the "StarBar" closed (about a year ago?)!!! sad news!
well, although i enjoy shopping i gammla stan i would like to know, where to go at nights.
any good clubs there???

StarBar is closed yes, there's a place there now called Rocks, but I think it suck big time!

If you have the possibily, try and visit "The Shrine" (http://www.theshrine.nu/index2.htm) or Pornbar (http://www.pornbar.nu/) two great clubs with live acts that are open about once a month, The Shrine is usually closed during the summertime though.

There's a new club now called Nirvana, situated at Bäckahästen, nice prices on beer and one or more live acts, open on Thyrsdays (http://www.bostream.nu/nirvana/).

For more rock/metal pubs instead of clubs, make sure to pay a visit to Kelly's and the Pub Anchor.

If you need addresses ocr anything, feel free to contact me.

I went to summer camp as a kid & we slept outside & in tents.I had no prob with it.Like I said in another thread, I'm looking at cheap hotels 1ST.I don't mind 4 hour sleeps(that's how much sleep I get a night during work weeks). If I can't find a hotel,I'll look into the campgrounds.I asked my father's side of the family(the Russian side) for camping equipment for X-Mas.
