Well, the first half was pretty bad, from Swedens side.
We played horribly.

Second half was good though.

Owen's injury made it all the way through the TV so pretty much everyone of the 700 I watched the game with said ooooowwwww when they showed the pictures.
Hope it's not too serious.

it is :p cruciate ligament damage
i think thats the muscles and tendons for the knee (joint)

im guessing 6-8 weeks out
might be fit for the new season in mid-aug and full fitness in oct.

i mean he was a very promising striker at liverpool, then moved to real madrid....where EVERYONE fails to impress :D
but newcastle utd bought him...and has been injured a lot

the question that raises is this:
was Owen really fit to play to begin with or was he not totally recovered but there has been pressure put on declaring him fit because of his importance in the England squad?
Remember that 4 years ago this happened top Beckham, he was declared fit to play but things proved to be otherwise
