I don´t think there is a special time when it has to shut - hey, it´s on St. Pauli! :D (you don´t say IN St. Pauli but ON St. Pauli, btw :D ). Only thing I know about the HB is that gigs have to be over at midnight or little later, but that doesn´t mean that the HB closes! :)

Even if it does close there several other clubs or something...

Is there a list in this thread with all the guys and not-so-guys staying in Hamburg?

well, 8 o´clock is indeed a bit long. At least I´ve never experienced that they were open that long. But you still can go to the Clochard or the Lehmitz at the Reeperbahn after the HB closes, they are open 24 hours :D
