Where are the closest international airports?

For your info: The nearest airport is HAMBURG. It is only 80 kms. away from Wacken. You should arrive there and take a bus (no. 52) to "Altona Train Station" in Hamburg City. From Altona, take a train to "ITZEHOE", and right in front of the train station, there is a shuttle bus which will be taking to directly to the W:O:A, and leaving you in the festival.

Please do not travel with AIR FRANCE so you will be loosing your camping tent as we did last year, having to sleep with other people which it is not good (sometimes).
