150 at a guess - it's about 70 km from Hamburg to Wacken - that's not as the crow flies, but about what you'd travel by train

Depending on which train you take you have to buy a ticket from the regional transport association - alternatively a rail ticket including the use of a faster train will cost you 23,80 EUR one way, or a bit less if you book earlier...

but - ive been on the berlin S and U trains...each station has a ticket machine and you stamp it
is that the same at Hamburg and all stations to Itzehoe?

I think so - unfortunately each city is different - I have travelled around Hamburg so I should know, but I can't remember - I might give Britta a nudge
