yeah, they rule, saw them live at the HOA this year :)

Sorry! I'm a little slow here :p

But yes! I know Twisted Tower Dire very well! They're from my area here, and I've seen them many, many, many times! Great live band, and they keep getting better. I initially wasn't too into them...their first album has pretty weak sound. The new one "Isle of Hydra" is fucking great though! Tony Taylor is a great live singer, and a nice guy too.

I know they've played Wacken before, maybe two or three years ago...did any of you see them there?

I'm going to see their show on Nov 30 - I'll ask 'em about Wacken!

Ha! I knew that :D
Yeah, TTD have played Wacken 2000, but I haven´t seen them cos I didn´t know them back there. I totally agree, that 1st album has a crappy sound, but the new one is cool. We´ve done the layout for the limited vinyl edition cover, so if you see them say Hi to Scott from me & my boyfriend (hope he still knows who we are, hahaha ) and ask them about Wacken, please! Thx :)

Shit, I don't know. I've seen TTD plenty of times and I doubt Scott knows me from a hole in the wall, hahaha. Nah, I'm sure he remembers you, unless he was reeeeally stumbling drunk!

Is that a limited vinyl of Isle of Hydra, or the "demos" EP thing they just did?

nah, just how shirts were made in the '80s, I think. I got a bunch of classic shirts at an old biker store that was closing down in Baltimore a few years ago...stuff like original Armored Saint, Vio-Lence, Dark Angel, etc. tour shirts. But I couldn't wear any of them because I was so out of shape...I've seen girlie shirts bigger than some of those so-called "XL" shirts I have!

Yeah, but I mean, back in the days it did fit me hahaha. Nowadays I need a '80's xxxl.

Way down in NC? Did you happen to see Widow there too? They fucking rule!

Hatred played some killer grinding thrash...it's a shame they've broken up, because their newer material was deadly!

But TTD is playing The Spotlight in Woodbridge on Nov 30th, apparently...it's this redneck dive right off of I-95. It's about the only place we've got for metal in this area aside from Jaxx, and since King Fowley has sworn off Jaxx, you can pretty much assume that any future October 31, Deceased, or TTD shows are going to be at Spotlight!

@Lucretia - 500 copies? Bet they're not cheap either! :) Especially coming from the guys who want $9 for a 7", haha. I'm sure my friend Dave Weber has a few copies, so I'll be sure to check it out.

@interrupt - yeah, no better workout than the good ol' Toxic Waltz to keep you in shape! All this slow doomy modern stuff now is making metalheads get all fat and flabby, haha

dunno, I don´t think they were too expensive - its a double LP and I guess it was about 10 Euros, max. 15 - but its sold out anyway, at least at Metal Supremacy itself ;) So good luck for finding a copy :)
