I play BF1942 quite a lot... quite good at it online... cant play online atm as i'm only on dialup.....

Yeah !

But using a new engine made by the DOOM-community called Doomsday, you now play DOOM with 3D monsters, lightning-effects and other cool shit. I will say the graphichs are something between Quake I and Quake II....Really, really impressive...
