The heat wasn't as bad as the brutal sun with no shade. Put a serious burn on myself over the weekend, but bearable. The rainstorm on Saturday was short but intense, I thought my phone was going to be ruined.

My boyfriend managed to give himself a pretty serious burn also. Poor guy. I was very happy to have the tent to go hide in when the heat got too bad.

When my tent cast a shadow I put my pillow on the ground and slept on the grass for a bit. That was nice

We had one of the big blue rented ones. Just opened up both doors and there was normally some shade in there so we just sat wherever the shade patch was or opened up the front awning and sat under that.
My tent was just a sauna after 8am.
