Yeah, I knew as soon as Maiden was announced, AND they started selling WAY earlier than ever before, that I had to order early.

Of course a lot of tix are probably being held by scalpers, so people who want to go bad enough will still have a good chance of scoring one.....for a little extra.

I must admit I was quite lucky. I only ordered my ticket when I saw a message on the German area of the site saying that Wacken was likely to sell out by the end of March/early April, although strangely I never saw this info on the English area. Anyway, my tickets arrived on Tuesday!

I booked my flights a few weeks back, but only booked my festival ticket TWO DAYS AGO. I have shipping confirmation as well now, which I received yesterday, I can't believe my luck.

If you choose to go by bus to WOA from Göteborg, Sweden, there are still tickets left, they don't sel single tickets though.

2225 SEK = about 237 Euro for travel and ticket
