Wacken 2000

Does anybody remember this band, who played a whole set of metal ABBA cover versions.
I think they were playin' Jacksons, and they played on the Wet Stage - wearing gold clothes!
I've been scratching my head, but can't remember who they were.

If anyone still has a programme - i guess it would be in there!!

2000's a long tim ago. Can't seem to find the program. Maybe I'll let you know in a few days when i stumble upon it. Or perhaps somebody else might have helped you.

Good luck finding the name (coz I can't seem to remember it either)

perhaps the BLACK SWEDEN ? but i dont know.

no, but i like them much, they are funny.

and the intro of the abbacovers are metal/rocksongs like smoke on the water or enter sandman.

Yes - they were particularly funny.
Definitely something original!
I'd quite like to see them play again!


Awesome - Wacken time of year is upon us!

They should name a new season - like Spring, Summer, Wacken, Winter!

There's a band called 'Beseech' (not well-known I think). They also made a great ABBA Cover (Gimme, Gimme, Gimme). Its a free download from mp3.com (you have to register - but its worth the wait - trust me!!!)
