There was/used to be a swimming pool in the village itself. (I guess it still is open during the festival)
Apparently there's also a shuttle from fest to pool.
But don't know. Last time I saw it was 2 years ago, and we went by car. (and it was damn bright for my likings!)

not so bad i guess. I'm just bringing a tent and a cheap blanket that i can burn before I leave...along with a small amount of clothes and some beer.
There is the Wacken Freibad", a , what is the englisch word for - puiblic swimming arena. But there are also several shower-opportunities across the area.
