Is it worth 39 EURO (advance booking), or can I cheaper price 2-4 days in advance (while I'm there)? It's going to be in August, and our ages are < 26.
Damn it! I tried to order through http://www.nshispeed.nl/ , barely understanding what exactly am I doing (cause they couldn't translate their site to english for non-natives!). But, on the final stage of paying with a credit card (visa) it failed. With two different ones I tried. And not verification, but "not succeed". Any recommendations how to order the tickets? bahn.de is a lot more friendly, but it only gives me the option of Post-Mail for this connection, since I'm not fro m Europe it wouldn't work so good. Also, weirdly enough, checking the same date on nhispeed.nl , the price rised after my tryouts! Either way, I didn't get any confirmation e-mail, and the messages I've got in the end of the process were "not succeed", according to online Dutch-English translator. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!
Thx, but it refers to bahn.de , which won't allow me to choose "Online-Ticket (for self printing)", because it doesn't depart from German I guess.
Ah yeah that's right. You could always just look up Köln (or Düsseldorf, or Frankfurt or...), to Berlin, and then buy a tickets to there from Amsterdam once you get there.
WTF is wrong with this site??? tried once again, and got this message: " Uw betaling is niet gelukt. Gelieve het venster te sluiten en opnieuw te beginnen. Onze excuses voor het ongemak. " Never experienced such problems with online ordering.
Well that's Dutch, so I assume that's what it tells you when you try to do it from Amsterdam? On Deutsche Bahn's website, sometimes they won't even list prices for departures from outside of Germany. I'm seeing the 39 euro price for your journey though, so I don't know. EDIT: I just checked the availability and it looks like on several days the 39 Euro price is already gone anyway. Perhaps this could be part of the problem?
Seems that the price is still 39 EURO now, anyway I'll just buy the tickets there. Anyway, thx for the help.
