The COVID-19 crisis has turned the world around and messed with our lives in many ways. For some time the "Kings of the Underground Tour" was at risk, but your strong response and demand for these shows encouraged us all to keep them for a later date. The fact is that we love music and live shows. We can't help it. The symbiotic relationship between bands and audience it's what makes metal great!

That said, we are here to announce the "Kings of the Underground Tour" will happen in Europe in May 2021. Enforcer, Skull Fist and Ambush are still confirmed for their show through Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Austria and Spain.

Ich glaub ja noch nicht wirklich dran, und denke auch nicht, dass ich da schon guten Gewissens auf Konzerte gehen könnte, wenn welche stattfinden, aber es wäre sowas von geil.

Ich wäre in Mannheim auf jeden Fall dabei. Auch guten Gewissens, weil ich weiß, dass das Package kaum mehr als 150 Leute unter der Woche zieht und in den Laden mehr als 600 reinpassen. Aber glaube ich daran, dass das stattfindet? Kaufe ich mir im VVK ein Ticket, das ich zu den anderen an die Pinnwand hänge, von denen da viele noch ein weiteres Jahr hängen? eher nicht...

Endlich wieder ein Metal Festival!
Metalheads, aufgepasst! Wir sind mega stolz, dass wir das Isolation Festival unterstützen können. Soviel ist sicher: Es sind einige mächtige Kapellen aus dem Hause Century Media Records dabei und es wird ordentlich auf die Ohren geben!

Die Livestreams des Online Festivals starten nächsten Donnerstag, den 14. Mai ab 20 Uhr und laufen 24 Stunden. Ich verrate schon mal, dass wir im Hintergrund natürlich auch an ein bisschen Festivalmerch für den guten Zweck arbeiten. Mehr Infos dazu nächste Woche bei uns!

Vollkommen klar, dass ein Livestream natürlich keinen Festivalsommer ersetzt. Aber gerade in diesen harten Zeiten unter Corona tut ein bisschen gute Live-Mukke doch ganz gut, oder?

Wir dürfen uns auf exklusive Sets freuen, die bereits aufgenommen wurden und erstmalig live premiert werden. Mit dabei: Insomnium, Voivod, Borknagar, Omnium Gatherum, The Offering, Angelus Apatrida, Dead Lord, DESERTED FEAR, SVART CROWN, BAEST, LUCIFER, Hideous Divinity, Bonded.

Legacy of the Beast Touring Update 2020/21

I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well, wherever you may be, and my continued thanks to you all for bearing with us so patiently.

Due to the continuing health issues Worldwide around Covid-19 we regretfully inform you that Iron Maiden will now not be playing any concerts until June 2021.

However, we are now in a position to give you details of our touring plans in respect to those shows we had hoped to play this year.

Firstly, we are very pleased to tell you that we’ve managed to reschedule all our European own-shows on the Legacy Of The Beast tour for June/July 2021 with the exception of Moscow, St Petersburg, Weert and Zurich which unfortunately we have been unable to re-arrange in this period.

To consolidate the tour routing, as you can see, we have added 2 further shows in Arnhem and Antwerp.

We are in the process of inviting back all the Special Guests and supports who were due to play with us this year. Where any band is unable to commit to this due to their own rescheduling situations, we will look at finding other suitable acts of equivalent stature. The majority are already confirmed and can be found on the tour page at IronMaiden.com.

Re-arranging the headline Festival dates has unfortunately not been possible. This is mainly because we already had an extremely busy year lined up for 2021 and, as I’m sure you can imagine, a great deal of forward planning has already gone on and there’s only so much we can do within the timeline and logistics already in place. The band enjoy playing at Festivals so please be assured we will get back to as many of these as we can at another time.

In respect of what should have been the opening leg of the 2020 tour starting on May 1 in Perth, Australia and visiting New Zealand, the Philippines, Japan, Dubai and Israel, we are currently working on a possible return to as many of these countries as we can, in some guise, in the first half of 2022, more news on that will follow at the appropriate time.

The band are all fine and send you guys their best wishes, they are very much looking forward to getting back on stage next year and seeing you all so, please, continue to take care of yourselves and stay SMART.

Due to local event restrictions related to COVID-19, which now affect almost all planned dates, the band's 2020 stadium tour can unfortunately not take place.

We are currently checking whether it is possible to reschedule the dates and will communicate any updates as soon as possible!
