It's going to be a busy week this week. My godchild (from NL) will come over next Wednesday, and my youngest isn't still in good shape. Besides, my oldest has a day off (pedagogical leave)
And I'll be in London in 2 weeks!

How far is Camberra from Melbourne? I only know it's in another state (Capital Territory?), but that's about it.

The same distance as it is from Sydney, that's all I remember. I guess the plane trip will be about an hour and a half or so?
Something I could do by train then. It'd take about 6-8hrs with at least a decent IC or ICE connection.

My mistake, looks like it's much closer to Sydney than Melbourne by a fair bit (as far as driving is anyway, not much further by air). According to google maps it's 287km from Sydney and less than 3 hours to drive there.
