Actually I started listening to them when they released Far beyond driven, and I would not vall that glam :D

But I do like Vulgar display of power and Cowboys from hell.

Not sure if I ave even heard any of their albums before CFH...

Or that I even want to ;)

hehe, me too... I started listening to them right aroudn when Vulgar Display came out. THen I got Cowboys, and Far Beyond when it came out. Then I was REALLY surprised to read a review of Far Beyond Driven that referred to it as their "seventh album". And that's when I found out the horrifying truth :D:D:D

Actually, in all honest, the album Power Metal, right before Cowboys, and the first one with Phil, was actually really fucking good! More '80s metal style, but not glam at all. Phil gets some really good Halford screams in there! If you like Twisted Sister and that stuff, you'd probably enjoy it. It's stuff before then with their old singer that's questionable. :D

Ok, maybe I'll try getting Phil's first record with Pantera :)

Really looking forward to seeing Twisted Sister at Bang Your Head, while on the subject ;)

hehe, I can't blame you! :) They're supposed to do a US tour sometime...they've been promising it for the last couple years now! But all they've done (that I've heard of) was a benefit show after Sept 11th. I want to finally see one of my childhood heroes someday! :D

Yes, really lloking forward to them!

First I was going to Sweden Rock Festival, but then I realized that there were better bands at BYH and Twisted were playing there also :)

When I saw Dee Snider live in -98 it really kicked some ass!

Been able to see some great stuff re-united, or before they split up now:
Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Kiss, Metallica, Guns n' Roses, Prety Maids.

Please after Twisted bring me Accept with UDO and Judas with Halford :)

Also forgive me for not going to W.A.S.P. al those years ago and give me one more shot!

augh! I will never forgive myself for missing the WASP/Motorhead tour that played here a few years ago - one of the few shows they played before that tour broke up when the bands got into a fist fight in Detroit.

Almost got to see Metal Church with David Wayne too...now that'll never happen again. :(

But yes, Judas Priest with Halford would be fucking brilliant!!! And if they could do another album that picked up where Painkiller left off, ahh! dream come true!

I've heard Accept with Udo is a very real possibility too - because the band supposedly broke up on very good terms, and they're still all friends.

I don't know...Udo's still alive. Wolf Hoffmann is still around - he lives over on a farm near Nashville now - Michael Wagener has his studio on Wolf's property. I've heard Peter Baltes lives here too, near Baltimore. And Stefan Kaufman was playing guitar for U.D.O.
