Someone in CHILDREN OF BODOM got hurt yesterday in Mpls. and they cancelled their concert. I hope he's ok, a lot of people were sad because they never play here.

I went to the X-mass festival yesterday... Nice, but could have been way better:
The first bands to play (before Nile) got less than 30 mins... that's awfully short...
I got in just before Graveworm.
Graveworm performance was ok, although the first song was a mess. I don't know if it was them or the sound crew though. the 3 other songs were ok
Dew Scented: Really good. Too bad they only played 4 songs. They really rocked
Amon Amarth: Excellent. Can't wait to be in wacken to see them again, and longer!
Nile: Saw the first half, I had liked them in WOA, yesterday I found them subpar.
Alas, I couldn't stay and see the other bands because the friend I was supposed to get a ride back home with got his car stolen, so it was either quit earlier and get a train, or sleep outside... Since it's freezing cold, I went for the first solution.

i missed the first few bands...i just got in to see DS and afew others, akercocke were just crapy and nothing special..had sound prblems too
