You can't be sure, but it is not very common. That's also good with the forum camp, most (all) of the time, there are people around.

What mugabe says is true. You can never be sure if you aren't at your tent. If you come by car, you'd better leave expensive stuff inside the car because it's a bit harder to open a car than to open a tent and steal something. If you don't come by car, well, they had these lockers this year for the first time, where you pay a certain amount of money and then you can lock your expensive stuff there.
Well I guess what you need is a certain amount of confidence in your fellow metalheads...most people at festivals like Wacken are really OK and usually people don't steal from each other.

REAL important stuff like airplane tickets, passports etc: NEVER leave it inside your tent. I think in this case (you're from Canada? I guess you'll come without a car) you should really use one of those lockers. I hope they will offer them again next year because this was something that was missing in the years before.

the best thing about those lockers is that you can fall asleep under that locker-truck, and u have no fear of wacking up with sun in ur eyes and all that... worx great when u are drunk !

Hey you can be glad that you dont live in czech. If you leave bike in front of your house you can be sure that it will be away in five minutes. Germany is very safe place, when I compare it to czech
