I'll be flying over from the UK, so I can't bring camping gas for my stove over, so I am just wondering if any of you kind people know where to get some in Hamburg. :)

It would also be greatly appreciated if you could shed some light on where to get a gazebo (party tent thing). I've been looking the net for hours and can't find anything. Like a German version of Argos would be good ;)

Yeah good question. I know where to get food in Hamburg, but I'm also looking for a length of PVC pipe or a makeshift flagpole or something to put our flags on (so we can find our tent... got really lost last time :))

There is a hardwarestore in the village, but I don't recall seeing it open last time I was there. Finding a flagpole there could be difficult.
You may want to consider just taking extra tent parts to use.
I don't know about now, but i saw a grocery store (Aldi ? Penny?) in (or near) Itzehoe that had cheap gazebo tents before. But that was a couple years ago.

Well yeah I'm not talking some 30 foot pole or anything, just something small like maybe 6 feet or so. I guess tent parts would work, but I'm actually picking my tent up AT Wacken so I can't just bring extra :D
