It was a great festival, and the only thing I found very annoying was the fact that we had to wait 3 or 4 hours in line to get out from the camping area (by car). We couldn't quite understnd why it had to be so long...
At first we didn't notice the increased beersize, so we thought that it was very expensive, but when we finally realized it, we thought it was okay.

I don´t know how the other years were ´cause this was my first year, and I can´t wait to come back, it was great, but of course there are some things that can be change,the worst for me was that I can´t heard to Haggard , that fucked me a lot!!!! But, well, i need to again so can´t be so bad
Why couldn't you listen to Haggard?

this and Candlemass/runing order changes were my only complaints about this years Wacken

A VERY BIG "CHEERS" TO ALL THOSE WHO MADE WACKEN 2002 POSSIBLE!!! We, amongst a lot of worn off but happy campers want to thank all the people (organisation, drinks, peace keeping bullies, god (?!) knows all the others...) for all the effort they've taken to make Wacken 2002 possible at all!!!! And for another fact: IT WAS FUCKING GREAT!
All you guys who are wheeping about the "bad organisation" (yeah right, you go ahead and organise a festival like this one!), "high costs" (walk into a disco shit tent and you'll pay at least 10 times the price for the number of dj's instead of the number of fucking great bands!), "not enough toilets" (weren't there trees enough?!), etc. etc. , are just the poor minority who want to be heard just to be heard. So shut up, remember the good moments (like there weren't enough...?!) and talk about that!
So, thanks again for the fucking great festival wacken crew! We (Hans, Eddie and the rest) have visited a lot of other festivals but none rule like Wacken!. We wish you and the entire Wacken crew lots of luck, strength (we can imagine it takes a lot of you) and most important, JOY in organising Wacken 2003!!!!! Thanks again for the great time at Wacken 2002 and we'll be there next year!
AND TO ALL THE HAPPY FESTIVAL VISITORS: It was bloody great and we wish to spend just another great festival with you guys next year!. Greetz to all of you guys and keep the spirit alive!
