He had comments for Spanish and Swedish too, but now I forget what they were...

@Morgen - no problem, just the honest truth, mate! When you hear bullshit in the media like, "Don't buy Volkswagens because the Beetle was originally designed by Hitler" and other such crap, you begin to wonder who the real criminals are.

On this same topic, I was searching through MP3.com once, and I found this really awesome thrash band from either Chile or Argentina, can't remember which. Their songs, riffs, and solos were all great. It was their name that sucked - Auschwitz! Bah!

To get back to the original topic - yes I'm singing in a band again because life was getting too boring. We just started this summer, it is a band without any ambition - we just wanna create songs and perform them live from time to time. Style: Some Punkrock, some Metal, a little old Goth Rock and some strange country stuff.

Band name will probably be "Seven Reasons to take a Piss", it's about dirt, alcohol, cheap drugs, cheap sex, cheap horror and other fun stuff. I love it very much.

From time to time my old band also gets together, we're called "Folk You" and do some kind of leftist-anarchic-punk-folk. Good music to drink too, we play a terrible black metal song on accordeon, banjo and fiddle, we sing about childrens books, the end of the world and warthogs and if we're in a good mood we might even play some Sodom or Neubauten.

Sorry, no homepages, but band Nr.1 will play some gigs next year, mostly in Southern Germany. But if we're any good maybe I'll fix us a date in Hamburg.

The story that I saw on a TV show some years ago was a bunch of those guys were sitting in a cafe somewhere talking about designing one cheap affordable car, and that Hitler drew an idea on a napkin and handed it to one of his aides and said "Build that." They showed the picture on the show - it looked like the Beetle but with a slightly raised back window, I guess.

But of course, it was Herr Porsche who designed the car that we know and love today...

I don't know, it was probably all bullshit story. And of course, VW sure hasn't had any problems selling either new or old Beetles.
