This is ridiculous, I'm so fucking pissed... :mad:

I can't tell you how I regret paying for this shit when there's so much going on this year and a lot closer to home! The money I'm spending on this crap I could go to Metalway (what a fucking good line-up) and some others here that are just starting to announce bands: Napalm Death, Obituary, Sodom, Sepultura, Dark Tranquillity, ... :mad:

No hope left...

Well, There are still plenty of bands TBA. But to be fair, you booked a flight to a festival without knowing who's going to play, and even if there's going to be fuck all you want to see, it's sort of your own fault...

Like I said in the other thread, no one saw this coming! We only want a decent line-up like 2007, 2006 and so on.

You're getting some proper legends (Black Sabbath, Nocturno Culto, anyone?), and surely some BM/DM gems will still be confirmed. You might not like the lineup at this stage, but it's not bad per se, stop making fools of yourselves.

Keywords: not bad.

We don't travel 1000 km, 2000km, half world to see a 'not bad' festival. The keyword should be 'good', or 'awesome' or even 'excellent'. And that's why we go to Wacken, it was good, it was awesome!

People (and here I'm talking about foreigners) go to Wacken mostly because of:

- great & diverse line-up;
- ticket price acceptable (quality vs price very good);
- the whole wacken experience;

Well, this year the first two are not true, and that leaves only the wacken experience. Is it worth the ticket price + trips + extras? no way.

And you are still missing the point. The line-up can be good according to your taste but the majority of us is unhappy with it. And why? Because there are too many genres lacking in this year's bill. Do you think 4 black metal bands are enough for a 3 day festival?! ? Or 4 thrash bands?!

And If I only wanted to see 'proper legends' I could go to Metalway, they have Manoway, Black Sabbath, Warlock, Baron Rojo.

Finally, you are the one making a fool of yourself. There's no doubt this year's line-up is a lot weaker when compared with other fests (Hellfest, etc) AND when compared with previous Wackens.

For myself, and a multitude of friends, the greatest downfall so far is that there are no death metal bands. I realize that I am a fan of even a more esoteric genre within metal, but seriously this is just ridiculous. The genre is not represented at all here, the closest band is Napalm Death, which don't get me wrong I'm VERY excited to see, but they are grindcore. I don't really want to fly all the way from Canada's west coast for a mediocre show, Wacken just doesn't seem to be living up to its own standards. Epic fail on part of management.

Forget about it...they won't get it. You are really making a fool of you if you try to teach them what you think...they don't get it.
I talked to so much people, traditional Wacken-visitors and new ones, and all of them are pissed.

But..hey, I like those dudes: "Stop whining and go away. I would pay 250€ for the ticket and 500€ for the trip, even if the Headliners are BfmV and My chemical Romance. They told us they would spent it for infrastructure, so its ok..." Yeah man. Did you know, the borders are open??

Ok, this is officially the worst thread ever

If you all bought your ticket in advance because of the reputation and you are disappointed right now, it's your own fault. I did it aswell, but at least I don't complain. That's retarded, sorry!
