After many years of dreaming, this was my first Wacken. The whole experience was brilliant. I've never seen a better run festival. Apart from one dude who needed to be told to leave a woman alone, I saw no conflicts anywhere, everything ran smoothly, the speed with which 70k people arrived and left was astonishing, cold water taps, showers, breakfast close to my tent and, of course, 3 days of amazing bands. The food was also great, and a big shout out to the first aid team, I managed to make a mess of my feet, and they cleaned them up and they were a lot better as a result. Awesome job all round.
