Actually this is caused by the lack of good stuff in "modern music". Wacken can be proud to have taken a step back to it's roots. If you don't agree, there are plenty of festivals that should be more interesting for you...

Would never miss a chance to see maiden and ektomorf in the same festival =)
i'm just complaining about the tons of ones i don't really like that are going

Horna is one of the bands u won't see in wacken...like Taake.
Urgehal, hm a little chance to see them.
But the other nice bm bands aren't "made" for wacken
