Simmons Solotour scheint ja nicht so zu laufen, 17 von 26 Terminen wurden um ein Jahr verschoben, bzw. man bekommt sein Geld zurück und neue Termine gibt es noch keine. Da würde ich wohl auch den Gehaltscheck für eine "Reunion" Show oder wie man sie auch betiteln will, mitnehmen.
Im Kollektiv fällt es auch nicht so auf, wenn einer ein Creep ist

Ohne Schminke und Show ist es halt kein KISS mehr. Wenn die da zu 4 oder 5 zusammen spielen wollen, warum nicht.

Es hieß übrigens immer Farewell to Tour. Einzelshows wurden nie ausgeschlossen.
Noch sehe ich das nicht als KISS konzert an. Mal sehen wie das am Ende aufgezogen wird.

Last Month, Flogging Molly canceled their tour and announced that frontman Dave King was “battling a very serious health condition.” Now, the band has revealed that in late January King had suffered a brain hemorrhage and was forced to undergo life-saving surgery.

King’s wife and bandmate Bridget Regan shared the update to Flogging Molly’s official Facebook, confessing that after the surgery King spent two weeks in a coma. While the frontman is currently in recovery, his wife notes that his future remains “uncertain.”

“Hi everyone, I’ve wanted to reach out for some time, but it was necessary to wait until we were safely out of the woods first,” Regan’s post began.

“On January 24th, Dave suffered a brain hemorrhage and underwent two subsequent surgeries to save his life. He then spent two weeks in a coma, followed by varying stages of treatment and recovery. On February 28th he underwent yet another surgery and I now feel confident we are on the other side of this. He is now entering into the next phase of his recovery and wants nothing more than to play music again. The road ahead is uncertain but we, as ever, will roll with the punches and hope to see you all in the near future,” she wrote.

“I’d like to thank Dave’s neurosurgeon, Mr. Kieron Sweeney and his amazing team at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin. Thank you. Thank you for saving my husband’s life. To all of the nurses and staff in both St. Brigid’s and Richmond Wards, thank you. Your extraordinary level of care was also integral to him being where he is today.

“To friends and family whose support was unwavering throughout this ordeal, a heartfelt thank you. And a special thanks to everyone who sent well wishes and messages of support. Please look after each other and tell your people you love them. Life can change in an instant.

“Until we meet again, Bridget”

Thriller sind Geschichte.

Schade. Immerhin 2x gesehen. Top Band.

Wie einige von euch bereits bemerkt haben ist der thriller merch store seit mehreren Wochen offline und wir haben schon länger nichts mehr gepostet…. das hat leider einen bestimmten Grund.

Wir hatten ein geiles Jahr, wenn nicht das geilste, das ich in meinem Leben jemals hatte. Leider kann ich da nur für mich sprechen.
Wir durften wunderbare Menschen kennenlernen und auf den begehrtesten Heavy Metal Festivals spielen, wovon ich früher nur geträumt habe.
Ich möchte mich an der Stelle nochmal bei allen Leuten bedanken, die unsere Konzerte besucht, unser merch gekauft, oder sich nach den gigs auch nur ein paar Minuten mit uns unterhalten haben. Ihr hab unser Jahr 2024 unvergesslich gemacht.

Manchmal laufen die Dinge aber leider nicht so wie man sie geplant hat und wir hatten viel geplant…

Leider hat sich Chris dazu entschieden die Band zu verlassen und mit ihm auch Phil, da die Vibes zwischen den beiden so gut waren, dass Phil in dem Fall mit keinem anderen zusammen die Gitarrenfront besetzen möchte.
Nach längerer Bedenkzeit haben Arnold und Vic dann ebenfalls geäußert, dass sie nicht mehr weiter machen möchten und somit gibt es für mich aktuell leider nicht mehr viel für das es sich zu kämpfen lohnt…

Es tut mir leid, weil ich weiß, dass einige von euch jetzt vielleicht enttäuscht sein werden, da sie sich (wie auch ich) auf ein neues Album gefreut haben Jedoch geht die persönlich Entscheidung von jedem Bandmitglied natürlich vor und wenn jemand die Band verlassen möchte, dann ist das sein gutes recht.

ABER: Jedes Ende bedeutet gleichzeitig den Beginn von etwas neuem und der ein oder andere von thriller wird mit Sicherheit weiter Musik machen und seinen Platz in der Metal Welt finden. Ich kann euch auf jeden fall versprechen: Ihr werdet wieder von mir hören!!

Ob es Thriller nochmal in anderer Besetzung geben wird oder ob ich das einer anderen Band beitreten die einen Sänger sucht weiß ich zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt noch nicht, aber es wäre auch langweilig wenn man in die Zukunft blicken könnte oder?!
Lassen wir und überraschen was die Zukunft bringt und fokussieren uns auf das, um was es eigentlich geht: Heavy Metal

Damit wünsche ich euch allen ein erfolgreiches Jahr 2025. Besucht Konzerte, unterstützt weiter die Szene und vll trifft man sich ja hier und da mal auf nem Gig.
