Ok, ive been wondering this for 3 years, im finally asking it. What mead do they sell at wacken? It really is the best thing I ever drank. But I can't seem to find what brand it is anywhere. Can somebody please help me out? Thx
I actually hear a lot of people complaining that they do not like the mead at WOA guess ou could send the orgas a mail asking the name of the standholder or just wait till august and ask then
Wtf? ALL my friends are saying how amazing the mead at wacken is, I never heared anybody complain about it
I dunno I was wondering that myself. I like the mead there, too. It's a lot sweeter than others I've had, but still good. Of course I've only found mead here a couple times, and every time it tasted totally different. I look forward to the German Mead, as much (or more) than the beer, now!
The mead is the best! They should sell it in the large steins! I can't figure out the brand...maybe it's something they brew in barrels?
There's MEAD at Wacken? My dreams are coming true They stopped selling mead in Canada several years ago. The only kind the stores used to carry was a Scottish brand, called Moniack.
You can easily make your own mead at home, you just need some honey and water and stuff...and some time...right today I had the chance to taste mead made by a friend of mine...excellent
oh, you can still eat the honey.. this is the only eatable thing you can keep for thousands of years but the mead at Wacken is not as good as many other kinds of mead I drank. And good mead must not be too sweet, I think. But I prefer Scotch (Llagavulin f.e.), so...
Lagavulin? Interesting choice. Didn't have one for ages. Well, I'm not going to eat it, but perhaps I'll find the time to make mead out of it this year.
