Hello Wackeners! My name is Christy and I will be traveling from Lake Tahoe, California to attend this years festival! This is my first year and I am very excited. I was stoked to realize that the first day of the festival resides on the ancient pagan holiday of Lughnassadh. I know that I will be celebrating in my own "special way", and was curious as to whether there were any other witchy/practicing pagan folk interested in having a sort of celebration. Perhaps even on the night of July 31? That way we don't miss anything the first "show day". I am not planning anything really that big, so it wont take long, but I think it would be fucking rad! If anyone is interested, let me know!

Hmm, I think there might not be too many at Wacken celebrating that one as it's more celtic/gaelic in nature, and Wacken, being in the northern part of Germany, tends to be more focused on the Norse/asatro culture.

There might be something happening at the Wackinger Village though.
