Well, I try to, out of common courtesy for people spending their time reading them. More important, though: If I don't have anything worthwhile to say, I don't, instead of leaving some inane irrelevant remark for the sheer sake of posting, and, on top of everything, being proud about it for some obscure reason.

If you're in a discussion with 10 people and occupy 90% of the total speaking time, you probably feel that you explained your opinions rather clearly to the 9 other persons. Now for an exercise:

What is their impression of you?

I don't know, I kind of like having a few threads which are more like a chat room than a forum thread. It helps me chat with you fine folks when I'm accessing the internet from odd places like gas stations, friends' houses, libraries, highway service plazas, etc. (read: places where services like AIM and ICQ aren't readily available)

When I go to a public place to browse the web, i always install Trillian.

If you don't know what it is, its a really small program that connects you to AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, IRC and MSN Messenger. All through the same program, so you don't have to download them all. and when you're done, just delete it. its really small so nobody will notice.

Oh cool, I didn't realize Trillian was that easy to install/uninstall. I'll have to check it out.

Seems like that's what I'm doing a lot of lately...connecting to the net from odd locations. It's strange how many places have an internet connection these days. :D
